Embezzlement
UNDERSLAGSKURS

Embezzlement is one of the biggest causes of loss within the retail and service industry.

Our embezzlement courses enable you to prevent and uncover most of the methods that are used to embezzle.

Embezzlement

Studies show that internal loss caused by embezzlement makes up about 30% of the total wastage/loss in retail. Large amounts of money therefore disappear from the businesses due to dishonest employees.

Our experiences quite clearly show that not a lot of the employees are involved in embezzling, but that the extent in which individual dishonest employees embezzle is significant. A small sum of money every single day quickly turns into a large sum – which is often a lot larger than the employee had originally planned!

In our embezzlement course, we will go through the causes of embezzlements and how to take preventive measures to keep it from happening, but the focus is on familiarizing the participants with a lot of the methods that are being used to embezzle.

It is our opinion that all employees, leaders and standard employees alike, would benefit from getting in-depth knowledge about the different embezzlement methods, to familiarize them with as many as possible. Through full transparency it will also become more difficult to use these methods, as so many people will be made aware of them and can therefore uncover them.

The embezzlement course will be customized to fit the individual industry, and maybe even the individual checkout/till system, to ensure that it is targeted towards the participants. The course consists of both a theoretical part and a practical part with the use of statistics, tools, etc. to uncover embezzlements.

The embezzlement course is completed in 1,5 – 2,0 hours and is, as previously mentioned, suitable for all employees.
